Mobile Learning Platform’s Design And Implementation Based On The Micro-course Of Android

With the coming of fourth generation mobile communication technology (4G), aswell as the intelligent and mobile terminal which is nearly universal, we have alreadygone into the mobile Internet era with the data move rapidly. The field of educationaltechnology which deeply influenced by information technology ushered in the newopportunity of development and unprecedented the requirement of development.Lifelong learning, ubiquitous learning, informal learning and individualized learningis the inevitable trend in establishing the learning society, and it has gained manylearners’ attention and recognition. Among them,the mobile learning which is thespecific and operable learning form is blooming again.As a new form of digital learning way, mobile learning has all the characteristicsof the digital learning. In fact, it has become a synonym and important mean oflearning in anytime and anyplace. With the growing of the intelligent and mobileterminal technology，as well as the increasing application of the fourth generationcommunication technology, the original technical bottleneck in the process of mobilelearning was alleviated to some extent. As the data transmitter of mobilecommunication network and mobile learning carrier, the intelligent mobile terminals’processing power is more stronger than any previous generations.This paper has carried out the following work.In theory, firstly the author made the induction and the summary about the presentsituation of research by sorting and analyzing the literature review of domestic andforeign projects about mobile learning. Then the author made clear the roughpositioning of this system by summing up the related definition and characteristics ofMicro-course. And I made analysis about the possibility as well as the necessity ofmobile learning by using the method of questionnaire. I assessed the feasibility of theresearch by its demand analysis and technical analysis. In the process of the mobileplatform’ development and implementation, the key technologies were described andsurveyed.In practice, the author will develop and design the mobile learning platform, andmake a comprehensive and detailed analysis about project, including data entity, theclient module design and interface server design. Then on the basis of the formerwork, I achieve all the function by JAVA program, such as Android client, server and database. Finally the author also conduct a comprehensive and detailed test on themobile learning platform.Above all, the paper completed basically the design and implementation of mobilelearning platform which have Micro-course in the Android system. In addition, thispaper analyzed the deficiency of the mobile learning platform, and discussed thefuture research and practice.
