National Student Loan System To The Plight Of The Study

Owing to the global financial crisis of higher education, the concept of cost-sharing was accepted by nations all over the world. It is a tendency for student loans to become the main mode to provide financial assistance. Therefore, it is not only a theoretical but also a practical problem to analyze how to improve National Student Loan System (hereafter abbreviated as "NSLS ").The author makes a comprehensive survey on the present implementation of "NSLS " in a certain university and the impact on students' study and employment of it. On the basis of first-hand material, combining the corresponding theories and methods of such disciplines as sociology, economics of education, welfare economics, and system economics etc., the author pays close attention to the formulation, development and implementation of this system. The most important question is, who come to undertake the corresponding losses? The author thinks that the government, bank, university and students who are the four major interests subjects should share reasonably the cost and risk, persist the principle of risk-sharing and perfect the risk against mechanism. Finally, drawing on the cases of "NSLS " in other countries, the author offers suggestions to build a sounder "NSLS " to promote education justice and the harmonious development of society at large.
