Research On The Harmony Of Square Leisure Sports

With the natural resources and human resources advantages, Chengdu tourism owned great developing space. In recent years, on top ofthe economic development and people’s living standards enhancement, themunicipal government energetically advocates and actively supports theachievement of Chengdu dream—the capital of leisure, sports, harmonious.While all departments made many efforts, in practice, some problems in leisuresports on urban squares are a phenomenon that existed.In this work, with Wuhou of Chengdu as an example, square leisuresports on the Current Situation are analyzed by means of referring to literature,questionnaire, on-the-spot investigation and mathematical statistics. The researchmainly focus on those aspect including the distribution regularity of the publicsquare and the corresponding facilities existed in in Wuhou district, the basicsituation that residents participate in the activities of square leisure sports, theinternal and external environment condition of the public square, the satisfactionsituation of residents for square leisure sports, etc. Research showsthe major problem existed in square leisure sports of Wuhou district is thecontradiction between supply and demand of harmonious development. On thesupply side, in order to gather the research data related with distribution regularity ofthe public square and the corresponding facilities, we visited Wuhou sports bureauand planning bureau. By combining GIS spatial analysis, it shows that: the existingpublic square site layout is unreasonable; Some public venues tend to becommercialized; Poor urban public space can be utilized; The public sitemanagement system is not sound. On the demand side, we researchthe requirements of different groups on square leisure sports. It shows that:Most people attach great importance to physical exercise; Butthe community sports facilities are insufficient; is, There may be deviation on theguiding ideology of government; The professional instructors are very lacking andguidances are not in place.On the basis of predecessors’ research, combining square leisure sports in Wuhou district this study makes suggestions and find out someways to solve the present problems:(i) Government is completelynecessary to strengthen the management. Firstly the scientific planning of urbanpublic space is essential. Combining with GIS spatial analysis, undeveloped orpotential urban public space should be scientific planned. It is necessary toestablish effective administrative systems. Secondly increasing the correct guidancefor urban residents is reasonable; It can make correctly guide residents to improvethe residents’ consciousness and ideas by Internet, newspapers, books and periodicals,broadcasting, television, school, text, music and other media.(ii) Fully giving play tothe role of social organizations is also important. Firstly it need to improve the publicservice system; Secondly the sports instructors should play the role of on-sitecoordination. Those measures includes enhancing the cooperation between squaremanagement personnel and social instructors, strengthening the cooperation of social,community and school professional instructors, standardizing square leisure sportsfacilities, increasing the utilization rate, scientifically organizing residentsparticipation, reasonably planning and arrangement the leisure venues and projects,Setting up warning signs around the square for safety, increasing thegarbage collector etc.(iii) Fundamentally, improving citizens’ comprehensive qualityis indispensable. Firstly it is significant to strengthen personal leisure consciousnessand ideas; Secondly it need to improve personal leisure skills.
