Research On Development Path Of Outskirts Leisure Sportszones In Shenyang From Industrial Cluster Perspective

With the rapid development of economy and society as a whole in Shenyang City, thecitizens’ demands in health and leisure in Shenyang become higher and higher. Under thepressure in so fast pace of inner city life&heavy mental stress, people are eager to return to thenature, enjoy themselves in the nature during the holidays, experience the enjoyment of sportsand leisure, relax themselves, as well as cultivate their temperament, which create theprerequisite for the development of outskirts leisure sports zones of Shenyang. In addition, boththe expansion of demands market and the holding of12th National Game bring about the rareopportunity for the development of the leisure sports zone in the outskirts of Shenyang.This paper uses literature, questionnaires, expert interviews, field observations and statistics,etc. to conduct an empirical research on the present situation of development in outskirts leisuresports gathering areas of Shenyang, and reach the following conclusions:First of all, most of the outskirts leisure sports zones in Shenyang are located in the scenicareas, and they are mainly centralized in the eastern region of Shenyang as opposed to thesituation that western region is the lack of a certain scale of outskirts leisure sports zones. Thepresent management projects of outskirts leisure sports zone are mainly outdoor leisure sports,however, leisure project is incomplete. Secondly, outskirts leisure sports zones of Shenyang offerthe citizens sports and fitness leisure facilities, where are close to the nature and make peoplefeel relaxed, they meet the needs of urban development and public life. However, the existingoutskirts leisure sports zones can’t meet the public demand in Shenyang yet, so which need to bediscovered and developed further. Third, those factors such as the lack of funding, professionaltalents, supportive services organizations and agencies as well as the neglect from relativedepartments and insufficient publicity and so on all influence the healthy and fast developmentof leisure sports zones in Shenyang. Finally, the government should take some measures such asoffer the related supporting policies, encourage the enterprises to enhance the communicationand cooperation with supporting services agencies, etc. to provide with favorable guarantee forthe development of outskirts leisure sports zones.Industrial cluster is an important mode of development for modern service industry.Outskirts leisure sports zones originated and developed from the agglomerate of differentfunctions and industries, so its path of development is bound to industrial cluster. Outskirts leisure sports zones of Shenyang can develop into multi-functional ones gradually by continuousenrichment in leisure projects and improvement in relative services, as well as the supports ofgovernment’s policies.
