| Objective:To investigate the pain killing effect of Celebrex adjustment to patients during arthroscopic surgery.Methods:78 patients(M 46,F 32,Average age 31.39) who had been diagnosed of meniscus injury were divided into three groups:normal dose, double dose and blank to collect the VisualAnalog Scale(VAS) value for 3 days after surgery,so does the other 73 patients(M 48,F 25,Average age 30.64) who had been diagnosed of ACL injury. Results:In the meniscus group, the VAS values decreased remarkably(P<0.01) both immediately after the surgery and 2 days later. In the ACL group, the VAS values did not decrease remarkably(P>0.05) immediately after the surgery, while 3 days later,it decreased remarkably(P<0.01).Conclusion:Celebrex's effect on pain killing is limited and it should be combined with some other method to relax the patients feeling during arthroscopic surgery. The result also showed a sign of time-related effect. |
