| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of using the principle of Jianzhong and Xingqi and Huoxue to treat old patients with functional constipation of Deficiency of Spleen and Qi stagnated and blood stasis .Methods: 50 patients with FC of Deficiency of Spleen and Qi stagnated and blood stasis were randomizedly divided into treating group with 25 cases and controlling group with 25 cases. The treating group was treated with of JianzhongXingqiHuoxue Tang which is drafted according to the principle of Jianzhong and Xingqi and Huoxue, while the controlling group was treated with Fusong. The whole courses were 4 weeks. The clinical effect of the 50 patients were evaluated by observing the changes of the main clinical symptoms,the tongue proper,the tongue moss and the pule before and after treatment.Results:1. The total effective rate of the treating group was 92% while in the controlling group 88%. There was not significant difference between the two groups(P>0. 05). The former was equivalent to the latter. 2. The integral calculus of symptoms of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the treating group before and after treatment was remarkablely difference(P < 0.001). After treatment the integral calculus of symptoms of the treating group was less than that of the controlling group. There was significantly difference (P<0. 05). It suggested that the treating group surpass the controlling group in improving the overall effect of symptoms. 3. There were significant differences in tongue proper , tongue moss and pulse before and after treatment the treating group (P<0. 05). 4. The two groups had no obvious influence on blood, urine , bowel evacuation , heart , liver and kidney function .Conclusion: Jianzhong and Xingqi and Huoxue Tang which is drafted according to the principle of Jianzhong and Xingqi and Huoxue has goodclinical effect in treating patients with functional constipation ofDeficiency of Spleen and Qi stagna- ted and blood stasis , and has no adversereaction. |
