Chronic liver disease which is caused by every kind of pathogen,most of them have heptic fibrosis grow into cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).It has a strong impact on people's life, health and quality of life. Because of hepatic fibrosis has reversibility, if we can diagnosis and treat it at an early period and in time ,keep from the progress of pathology,then we can prevent it from cirrhosis or HCC. So interdict and reverse hepatic fibrosis has been become a hotspot which is researched by medical workers at the present time.Yi Qi Jie Du Tong Luo Fang is an experience medical prescription of my tutor whose name is Guangfu Xu. It can resist hepatic fibrosis remarkably. This is proved by clinical. To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Yi Qi Jie Du Tong Luo Fang on liver protection and antifibrosis , the patients with Liver fibrosis were randomly divided into two groups that separately is called therapy group and control group . The therapy group(30 patients) were treated with Yi Qi Jie Du Tong Luo Fang, while the control group(30 patients) were treated with Fufang Biejia Ruangan Tablet. The manifestation, hepatic function, serum markers of liver fibrosis of liver fibrosis of before and after treatment was observed.The results indicate that the effective rates were 96.67% and 70% respec- Tively, there was a significantly difference in effective rate between the Therapy group and control group (P<0.01). It was also found that the degreen of the improvement of manifestation, hepatic function, serum markers of liver fibrosis of the therapy group was higher than that of the control group sig- nificantly and the therapeutic efficacy of the therapy group was better than that of the control group significantly(P<0.05).In conclusion , Yi Qi Jie Du Tong Luo Fang can prevent the progress of hepatic fibrosis evidently, and it has not side effect, also is not expensive. It is worth considering as a promising Chinese material medica for the treatment of liver fibrosis.
