Yifei Spleen, Phlegm And Blood Stasis Method Combined With Cisplatin-based Third-generation Chemotherapy Regimens For Treatment Of Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Clinical Research

Objective: To investigate the effects of supplementing lung and spleen, dissipate phlegm, removing blood stasis combination of the third chemotherapy programme based on cisplatin in advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.Methods. 40 patients with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer were divided randomly into the test group (20 cases) treated with Yi Fei Jian Pi Soup plus chemotherapy and the control group (20 cases) treated with chemotherapy only. Both groups had been given two 4-weeks courses.Results: There is no significant difference in objective curative effect between test group and control group. The test group is superior to contol group in clinical syndrome, side effect, toxic response and quality of life.Conclusions: supplementing lung and spleen, dissipate phlegm, removing blood stasis combination of the third chemotherapy regiment based on cisplatin are an effective method in treating advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. It can decrease toxic response, enhance clinical efficiency and improve the quality of life.
