ObjectiveTo observe the effects of regulating Qi and strengthening spleen combined chemotherapy on the patients of mediun or late non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).MethodsThe advanced 60 cases met the inclusion criteria of non-small cell lung cancer patients were divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. Two each treatment cycle, compare the quality of life in each group before and after treatment (KPS score, FACT-L QoL), weight, clinical symptoms, toxicity (bone marrow suppression, gastrointestinal reactions) and so on.resultsIn terms of quality of life, increased KPS score treatment after treatment before treatment than the control group (P<0.01); FACT-L QoL, the treatment group after treatment, physical condition, scoring the additional condition than before treatment and control group had improved significantly (P<0.05). And physiological status, social/family status and emotional status score was no significant difference (P> 0.05). In terms of weight, after treatment, the treatment group stable and effective weight ratio of 93.33%, compared with control group with significant difference (P<0.05). Compare before and after treatment of lung cancer symptoms, cough, bloody sputum, shortness of breath, fatigue symptoms improved significantly (P<0.05), and fever, there was no significant difference (P chest pain> 0.05). In toxicity aspects, more bone marrow suppression, the incidence of treatment group, bone marrow suppression was significantly lower than control group, and in the case of bone marrow suppression, treatment, bone marrow suppression have been less control light, ° myelosuppression the total incidence rate of 83.33% in the treatment group than in the III ° and bone marrow suppression occurred. After the chi-square test, P= 0.00<difference before and after treatment of bone marrow suppression of 0.01 between the two groups was statistically significant. The reaction in the digestive tract, the treatment group had nausea, vomiting and diarrhea frequency was 46.67%,23.33%, the incidence in the control group was 90.00%,66.67% respectively, the incidence of gastrointestinal reactions treatment group was significantly lower than the control group. The treatment group compared with the control group diarrhea symptoms; chi-square test, the treatment group compared with the control group, nausea and vomiting, the two-tailed P= 0.00<0.01, so the nausea and vomiting between the two groups was statistically significant comparison of the situation in, P<0.01, so between the two groups appear diarrhea comparison with statistical significance.conclusionregulating Qi and strengthening spleen, can improve the quality of life receiving chemotherapy in advanced non-small cell lung cancer, relieve symptoms of lung cancer, cough, bloody sputum, shortness of breath, fatigue is more significant aspects. But also to effectively alleviate bone marrow suppression and chemotherapy appears gastrointestinal reactions. Based on the above results, regulating Qi and strengthening spleen in TCM has a synergistic role attenuated during the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
