China 410007 Abstract XiHongHuaGao is a compound preparation of medicinals that was proved to have a good clinical curative effect on treating acute soft tissue injury. This study showed no acute toxicity, no long-term chronic toxicity,no Sensitization. It has only slight thrill to damaged skin of xiHong HuaGao by animal emperiments. In the meanwhile, we observed the treatment of acute soft tissue injury in 64 case, 32case by XiHongHuaGao, and 32 cases by WanlluaYiu. The comparision of the main Clinical Symptoms and physical signs such as pain, Swelling, tenderness and functional improvement showed that the curative effect of XiHongl-IuaGao on a cute soft tissue injury seemed to be much better than that of WanHuayiu, and there was a marked significance statistically(P
