Objective To evaluate the quality of life in coal patients with spinal cord injury current situations, social support and coping style of coal patients with spinal cord injury influence on the quality of life. Hope to provide comprehensive measures for a reference, including social support and psychological intervention, for coal patients with spinal cord injuries.Methods The use of the current domestic widely used questionnaire, including general information questionnaire. Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BRIEF), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS), Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire (MCMQ). To give a unified approach to guide language and filling the premise, so that subjects in the investigation with the help of those who complete the above scale. Scale by professional software score, the score results of the statistical analysis.①Accordance with general information (age, gender, family income, education level, marital status, current place of residence, disability rating, injury time, complications, etc.), all subjects are grouped to compare with physiological field, psychological field, social relations field and environment field.②All the research subjects, respectively, the quality of life in various fields (the physiological field, psychological field, the social relations field, the environment field) and the total quality of life score, community to support the three dimensions (the objective support, the subjective support, to support the use of degree) and the total social support score, medical coping methods score (confrontation. avoidance, acceptance-resignation). were compared with the domestic norm of the quality of life, social support, coping style.③All aspects of social support and coping style in coal patients with spinal cord injury doing linear correlation analysis with and quality of Each aspects of social support and coping style in coal patients with spinal cord injury linear correlation analysis with quality of life.④Using multiple linear regression analysis to analyze factors of quality of life in coal patients spinal cord injury to do with general information, social support and coping style.Results1. Educational level:>junior school group's psychology field,social relations field score were higher than the< junior school groups, P <0.05 or P<0.01. Current residence:Family group's the environment field score was lower than the medical institutions group, P<0.05. Injury time>5-year group's psychological, social relations, environment in three fields scores higher than the< 5-year group, P<0.05 or P<0.01. Disability rating:> 4-level group's physical, psychological, social relationships, environment scores were higher than<4-level group, P<0.05 or P<0.01. Complications: no complication group's physical, psychological, social relationships, environment scores were higher than the group with complications, P<0.01.2. Coal patients with spinal cord injury physical, psychological, social relationships and overall quality of life scores were 12.32±1.95,11.98±2.08,12.54±2.53,48.75±7.19. were lower than the national norm, the difference was statistically significant, P<0.01. Coal patients'subjective support, to support the use of degrees, the total social support scores were 20.41±3.58,8.29±1.57,40.73±7.14, were lower than the national norm, the difference was statistically significant, P<0.01. Coal patients with spinal cord injury coping style (confrontation,avoidance,acceptance-resignation) scores were 17.11±2.88.15.87±3.03,11.65±2.79, compared with the national norm, in the confrontation score was lower than the national norm, avoidance, acceptance-resignation were higher than the national norm, the difference was statistically significant, P<0.01.3. Coal patients with spinal cord injury physical, psychological, social relations, environment and the overall quality of life had positively correlated with objective support, subjective support, to support the use of degrees and the total social support, there were statistically significant. P< 0.01. Physical, psychological, social relations and environment had positively correlated with confrontation and avoidance, and had negative correlation to acceptance-resignation, there were statistically significant, P< 0.01.4. Social support, confrontation and acceptance-resignation as independent factors affecting quality of life in coal patients with spinal cord injury by analysis of multiple regression equation.Conclusion1. In age, household per capita income, educational level, current place of residence, disability, injury time, complications groups'comparison study, different factors on the quality of life in all fields could not be ignored.2. Quality of life in coal patients with spinal cord injury was low, the physical, psychological, social relations, were obvious. Physical pain, psychological trauma, lack of social relations so that their lives need more helping. Lower social support, lack of emotional support, poor use of social support, need the community to provide more emotional care. Psycho-social factors had emotional instability, negative coping style to face life, need to provide positive psychological treatment interventions3. Quality of life in mine patients with spinal cord injury were closely related with social support and coping style, through the provision of material and spiritual assistance, as well as psychological and emotional therapy could effectively improve the quality of life.4. Stress psychological treatment and social assistance could effectively improve the quality of life in patients with spinal cord injury. Hope that more individuals, groups into care activities of patients with spinal cord injury.
