Clinical Study On Treatment Of Cervical Spondylosis Of Nerve-root Type By Electroacupuncture At Jiaji Point

Objective: To research the mechanism of Electroacupuncture( EA)on Cervical Spondylosis of Nerve-Root Type.Methods: This research treats Cervical Spondylosis of Nerve- oot Type, employing the draw-lots methods to divide 60 patients into two groups randomly.The Eagroup of Electroacupuncture Therapy uses Electroacupuncture Therapy methods on JiaJi, Dazhui, Fengchi, Quchi,Waiguan, Hegu.30 minutes per time.A period of treatment consists of 10 days.The control group takes Acupuncture therapy in two periods of treatment.Taking the post-therapy Clinical curative effect into consideration, the difference between inter-group and within-group as well as pre-therapy and post-therapy is observed, aaiming to carry out study on the clinical curative effect of Electroacupuncture on Cervical Spondylosis of Nerve-Root Type.Results : The improvement extent of all indexes of the Electroacupuncture Therapy group is apparently superior to those of the control group.The ratio of healthy-recovered of the Electroacupuncture Therapy group is 76.7%, while that of the control group is 50.0%.Two groups have extremely apparently distinction( p<0.05).This result shows that the Electroacupuncture Therapy is superior to the control group.Conclusions:Clinical curative effect of the EA group was superier to that of the control group. the Electroacupuncture Therapy is easy to handle and propagate, have explored a novel way to cure this disease.
