Purpose:The main purposes of the paper are to observe the effects of Hand Three-point needling(San jian, Zhong zhu, Hou xi) and Neck-Jiaji points on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR), to investigate the effect and mechanism of Hand Three-point needling and Neck-Jiaji points, and to provide theoretical and practical basis for its clinical application. Meanwhile, the research about the correlation between cervical spondylosis and syndrome of spleen qi deficiency was made in order to open up new diagnostic and treatment ideas and improve clinical efficacy.Material and method:The standard 40 cases of CSR patients were randomly allocated to 2 groups,Hand Three Points group(treatment group) and Neck-Jiaji Points group(control group), and each group contains 20 cases. After one course of treatment, total effective rate and related data analysis would be calculated by SPSS17.0 and the results would be discussed. Designing the survey scale of the correlation between cervical spondylosis and spleen qi deficiency syndrome, the survey about 100 cases of cervical spondylosis can be made. The survey data would be collected and sorted and the data analysis would be done using SPSS17.0.Results: This paper consists of two parts:1.The first part is clinical research on the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by acupuncture combined with Hand Three-Point needling and Neck-Jiaji PointsThe cure rate of Hand Three Points group is 50% while the cure rate of Neck-Jiaji Points group is 35%. After the treatment, symptom and physical signs were both reduced. The scores of NPQ and MPQ within the two groups were both statistically significant(P<0.05).2. Investigation of spleen qi deficiency syndrome in patients with cervical spondylosisThe proportion of neck-type cervical spondylosis and cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is higher among the collection of 97 effective questionnaires. There is Aggregation phenomenon among syndrome of spleen qi deficiency, neck-type cervical spondylosis, cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and sympathetic type of cervical spondylosis. The comparative difference was statistically significant among different types of syndrome(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1. The treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by acupuncture combined with Hand Three-Point needling and Neck-Jiaji Points as well as Neck-Jiaji points by simple acupuncture have obvious clinical curative effect in reducing the neck pain, relieving the symptoms of upper limb and improving patients’ quality of life. However, the cure rate and significant effective rate of the treatment group is better than Neck-Jiaji points by simple acupuncture. 2. Neck-type cervical spondylosis and cervical spondylotic radiculopathy have a relatively higher morbidity in the pathological classification of cervical spondylosis. Neck-type cervical spondylosis and cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and sympathetic type of cervical spondylosis have correlation with syndrome of spleen qi deficiency.
