The Clinical Study Of Tongbi Decoction By Iontophoresis Combined With Yishenhuoxue Decoction Oral Administration In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

ObjectiveThe objective of this study is to analyze the clinical effects of Tongbi decoction by iontophoresis combined with Yishenhuoxue decoction oral administration in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis, and to investigate initially the mechanism of improving patients'symptoms and signs.Thereby to develop a new treatment way for knee osteoarthritis.MethodsA random control design of clinical trials was adopted.The 90 Patients whose consistent with inclusion criteria were divided into three groups randomly.The treatment group was treated by Tongbi decoction by iontophoresis and Bushenhuoxue decoction oral administration.The control group I was treated by compound capsicum patches and Yishenhuoxue decoction oral administration.The control groupâ…¡was treated by Yishenhuoxue decoction oral administration only.Then referred to the Lequesne evaluation about OA severity and reactiveness and made observation table to record patients'information. After one courses of treatment (four weeks)made effect evaluation. The available data were done statistical treatment.The comparison was done in front and back of a group respectively and among three groups.To evaluate the VAS scores, scores of knee joint function, synthetic effects arid adverse reaction of these patients.ResultsThree groups of patients with knee score, AVS points, before and after treatment compared with their own t test, the differences were highly significant (P<0.01) significance. During the three groups of patients had no significant toxic effects and allergies.Conclusion Tongbi decoction by iontophoresis combined with Yishenhuoxue decoction oral treatment of knee osteoarthritis significantly, and significantly better than the efficacy of orally Yishenhuoxue decotion. Tongbi decoction by iontophoresis with Yishenhuoxue decoction oral is a safe and valid treatment by Chinese medicine combined with osteoarthritis of the knee outside the program.
