A Study Of Foundry Industry Cluster Innovational Ability In Jincheng City

In the present economic globalization, the role of industry cluster in upgrading international competitiveness of the enterprises and the region is becoming increasingly obvious. With the advancement of new scientific and technological revolution, the industry cluster competitive advantage is being changed from traditional economy to innovation advantage. Continuous innovation is the origin of dynamic industrial cluster;and persistent innovational capability is the prerequisite for sustainable development industry cluster, fostering and improving the cluster innovative capability is the key of the acquisition, promotion of the competitive power and sustainable development. This article studied systematically the traditional industry cluster in less-developed area– foundry industry cluster in Jincheng City, proposed the foundry industry cluster's innovation ability conceptual model, established the target of appraising foundry industry's innovational ability , analyzed the factors has affected foundry industry's innovation ability, had certain theory significance and the practical significance.The article not only constructed the foundry industry cluster's innovation ability conceptual model by the qualitative method, studied its innovation ability using principal component analysis method. The above analysis result showed us that:(1)in recent years, its innovation ability is enhancing year by year, but it also had some factors affected its innovation ability;(2) the industry cluster is helpful to the innovation. The industry cluster is the space suiting innovation, is the configuration of organization suiting innovation of the small and medium-sized enterprises.The main innovation of this article is : it established the innovation capability evaluation index system for Jincheng foundry industry cluster to carry out quantitative evaluation to their innovation capability; it conducted firstly a systematic study on the innovation capability of Jincheng City foundry industry cluster and put forward some policy proposals to promote innovation and development of Jincheng foundry industrial clusters, all of which may provide a reference and learning to the innovation and development of traditional industrial clusters in the less-developed regions innovation.
