With the development of industrialization in the global agriculture, modern agriculture not only have the productive function, but also bears the practical function of improving the ecological quality of the environment and providing tourism, leisure and resort . With the increased income, increased leisure time, accelerated pace of life and an increasingly competitive world, people long for the diversity of tourism, in particular, hope to relax themselves in a typical rural environment. Thus, agriculture and tourism-edge of new industries-eco-agricultural tourism came into being. However, the eco-agricultural tourism and sustainable development is a systematic project, many issues need to be constantly improved. In this study, how to promote eco-tourism for sustainable agricultural development, the achievement of social, economic and environmental benefits to maximize is the research goals. Based on the systematic summary of the eco-agricultural tourism at home and abroad and the systematic analysis of the eco-agricultural tourism being the starting point, the thesis clearly illustrates the type of eco-agricultural tourism, the conditions for development, problems and prospects. Furthermore, on the base of analyzing SWOT of Chibi Cang Lake of Hubei Province eco-agricultural tourism agricultural eco-tourism development district, the thesis launches a sustainable ecological footprint and evaluation, and puts forward the principles and development measures for the sustainable development of eco-agricultural tourism, thus providing a typical example for the sustainable evaluation of similareco-agricultural tourism zones.1) Guided by the system thinking and begin with the eco-agricultural tourism and sustainable development, the thesis analyses the essential characteristics of agricultural eco-tourism and its sustainable development and points out that ecological agriculture Tourism has broad drvelopment prospects and will be an important direction of the development of tourism in our country.2) From the results of SWOT analysis, Cang Lake ecological tourism development district sustainable development of agriculture has certain conditions for development and development potential. As the special nature of eco-tourism, through scientific and rational planning, refining the regional characteristics of tourism products, and strengthening environmental protection efforts, we can make use of the chance as a national model of agriculture, and develop Cang Lake Tourism Development district to be a brand product with its own characteristics for the sustainable development.3) Per capita ecological footprint in Chang Lake ecological agriculture development district in 2006 is 1.6427 hectares/person, the ecological carrying capacity is 1.5302 hectares/person and the deficit is Eco-0.1125 ha/person. Although ecological footprint per capita of Cang Lake Ecological Agriculture Development District is lower than the global level, per capita ecological carrying capacity is lower than the ecological lever, so we should further adjust land use structure, reduce the per capita ecological footprint, improve the ecological carrying capacity per capita, reduce the deficit to ensure the sustainable development of ecological agriculture.4) After building sustainable evaluation index system, with the help of using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to calculate Cang Lake sustainable development of ecological agriculture district, we get the composite index of 74.16 which is in a state of sustainable development. And tourism resources subsystem evaluation index is only 65.11, which shows that the tourism development district are relatively lack of resources. In the future we should increase the intensity of the existing tourism resources, improve infrastructure , establish a regional superiority to set up a brand product with its own characteristics for the sustainable development.5) Cang Lake ecological sustainable development of agriculture should be handled through establishing a scientific and eco-agricultural tourism management mechanisms, building a team of high-level managers and workers, strengthening the eco-agricultural tourism information development, improving the eco-agricultural tourism cycle of economic operation system and so on , thus guaranteeing the sustainable and coordinate development for the Regional eco-agricultural tourism .
