Optical transmission DCN network is a management network of telecommunication network. How to build a safe, reliable and efficient optical transmission DCN network is very significant for the operation of Optical transmission network and realizing the centralized management of business of the transmission network.This paper aims to build a DCN network model to achieve the efficient, reliable and secure transmission among the network business and provide a strong platform for communication support forDCN's full playing in network management and performance monitoringThis article selects network router and switch equipment to build a network based on the discussions on the current network equipment. According to the current three-tier management model in Telecommunication transmission network, A three-tier architecture network model was designed and different protocols is planned in different network levels.OSPF routing protocols and Cisco networking equipment are applied for practically building network.The security situation on the DCN were analyzed under the current practice within the DCN network access equipment in use and maintenance of situation. On this basis, DCN network security was enhanced, using some security technology, such as routers, switches, firewalls, IDS and domain network.Based on DCN web live and engineering practice, from the network is currently running and using the situation, the network security, effect, reliance, and network equipment maintenance and management are effectively concentrated, and all of the resource in the network is efficiently allocated in this paper.
