Design And Implementation Of The Ospf Protocol Software

With the rapid development of the international net, the performance of routing protocols becomes more and more important and is required to be greatly improved. This requirement is specially notable in IGP (interior gateway protocol). Now, in Europe and North America, OSPF is usually used as IGP for AS(Autonomous System).OSPF is a dynamic routing protocol put forward by IETF(internet engineering task force)in 1988.lt is based on the link status algorithm and used in AS. This project just aims at developing OSPF routing protocol software on PSOSystem.Briefly introducing OSPF protocol first, this dissertation goes gradually deep into the principle and the working flow of the protocol. Then, it presents in detail the work I took in this project, focused on design and implementation of communication module and neighbor status automatic machine module.
