An embedded application system based on PowerPC processor is researched and designed in this thesis, and the system hardware design and the driver software design is completed as well. The hardware of this system is designed with Cadence PCB Systems. It uses the high speed PCB design method to guarantee the reliability of system hardware. The system fully makes use of the advantages of the PowerPC processor, like the high performance, the low power loss, the low cost. It expands the platform general interface and provides an economy and sound solution for the application.First, this thesis discusses the embedded application systems, the development of EDA technology, the virtual media and the significance of this research work as well as the main content researched. On the basis of detailed analysis of the system's functional requirements, it proposes the overall system design programs and the design principles. Next, the thesis introduces the hardware core of the system realization, which is the embedded processor - MPC852T of Motorola Corporation. The MPC852T internal system construction is also described and the model application diagram of the MPC852T is given as well. It introduces the system hardware development environment, including the flow of system design and principle of design. Then, it elaborates on the system hardware design and the driver software design, presenting a concrete realization of various module functions. At last, the thesis gives the main conclusion of this research and the prospect of further optimizing work is also proposed. |
