Based On The Arm7's Vxworks Embedded Operating System Platform Design

In recent years, with the development of the computer application technology, the embedded system has already become a new developing focus of the computer application, it has a huge market demand and becomes the new growth engines for IT industry. Facing varies of embedded operating systems and embedded processors, it is the important subject that needs to be solved for us to choose the suitable software,hardware and to design a excellent polyfunctional embedded developing platform in this paper.To the subject of "the design and realizing of VxWorks embedded operating system platform based on ARM7 ", this paper has studied the embedded operating system VxWorks and the design and development technology based on the embedded microprocessor of ARM kernel.I have mainly done the following work:First of all, this paper has described the basic conception of the embedded system. In software, it chiefly introduces the kernel of embedded operating system VxWorks and how to use the development environment—Tornado; In hardware , it chiefly introduces the system structure and programming of ARM.Secondly, on the basis of S3C44B0X microprocessor based on ARM7 system structure , I have designed the hardware platform. This paper discusses the concrete developing process of this platform , including the allocation of hardware resource and the expanded peripheral circuit ,such as RAM , ROM, FLASH ,serials,network, USB, IDE ,etc.Finally, I have developed the BSP(Board Support Package) based on ARM-VxWorks platform and summarized the method and precautions of developing BSP . This paper lays emphasis on the system's starting order, the serials' driver and the network's driver,etc.Besides the basic BOOTLOADER, this paper has also expanded some applications of the developing platform, for instance the file system, Ftp server,etc.The achievement of this paper has been used as the experiment platform for the further development and study in laboratory.
