Magnetic bearings have a series of advantages which involve frictionless, high speed, high precision and so on, so it is widely applied in industries. With the development of magnetic bearing technology, the manufacturing and series design are the necessary direction. Under this condition,developing an integration software system is an effective method to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of the design of magnetic bearing.Therefore, the integration framework of the magnetic suspension rotor system is presented. Based on the framework, the structure design module, performance analysis module, simulation analysis module , fault diagnosis module and theory dynamic demo module are designed. This software integrated all the modules together. So, the integration design system of the magnetic suspension rotor is realized.The second development of SolidWorks,ANSYS and Matlab is achieved in this system.By using its own characteristics of Windows operation system and COM technology,the structure design module is fulfilled. By using the ANSYS Parametric Design Language, the performance analysis module is designed. The static analysis and modal analysis of magnetic suspension rotor is realized , also the magnetic field and temperature field analysis of the radial magnetic bearing and axial magnetic bearing is fulfilled in this module. To develop the simulation analysis module, the Matlab program development interface ,Simulink toolbox and Matlab GUI are used.The fault diagnosis module and theory dynamic demo are also developed in this system.Because of the different function of SolidWorks,ANSYS and Matlab, there are always some problems when the data transfers among them. In this paper, public parameter transmission method is adopted. By using this method, the integration of SolidWorks,ANSYS and Matlab is realized. So parameters can be transferred conveniently among them.The developing trend of magnetic bearings in the future is prospected based the conclusion of the whole article in the end.
