Investigation On Host Image Of The Television Talk Show

A television talk show is a kind of program in which a host and several honoured guests as well as a crowd of audience make improvisatori discussions surrounding a topic. In the modem social life, the improvement of image is being paid more and more attention from organizations and individuals. And the image of hosts in television talk show is being attached importance to by publics and theory experts. Based on literature study and rational discussion, this paper investigates the basic conditions of the image of hosts in television talk show and the main problems exiting in it. What's more, this paper takes some analysis on the result according to the theory, which would provide guidance and reference of value for the hosts of the television talk show to improve their image. This paper concludes the following five main parts:Part â…  Introduction. This section introduces the background of the study, and refers to the fact that the image of hosts is the vital problem that influences the development of television talk show. So, taking studies on the host image of the television talk show has very important significance. In the literature review, the paper generalizes the previous study fruits, and confirms the basic dimensionalities of host image of the television talk show.Part â…¡ Study measures. This study uses questionnaire as the basic way, and investigates 46 hosts of the television talk show from Changchun, Sichuan, Beijing and Chongqing TV stations, as well as 350 publics. Based on the literature review and individual talk, this study makes the outside and inside questionnaires. These effective datas are dealed with the tool of SPSS10.0.
