The advent of the era of convergence media has driven the change of the media environment.The deep integration of TV and network media has also placed higher demands on hosts.The IP value of the host is the basis and core of his or her survival and development.As one of the guides of a program,the creation of IP for the host has been an inevitable requirement of the times and industry development.According to the current overall situation,various types of TV and online shows are emerging,and the number of hosts is increasing with the demand of the programs.However,the sense of presence and popularity of the program hosts is decreasing,just because most of them lack personalized style characteristics,and their discourse rights are facing a crisis and challenge.These realities show the importance of the transformation of hosts in the information age and the necessity of creating distinctive and personalized IPs for hosts.Enhancing their communication capabilities,influence and competitiveness is the main task for the development of hosts nowadays,and there is an increasing trend for hosts to achieve IP.There are three main requirements for the creation of host IP today.Firstly,they should have distinctive personal characteristics.Secondly,they should have popularity,reputation and audience satisfaction.Thirdly,they should be accepted and recognized by the audience and with a high level of fan stickiness.This paper is based on this research background and current situation.It defines the research perspective,the research object and the research content.The research scope is set as the new talk show “+” model.The development history of the talk show is sorted out from the longitudinal dimension to explore the breakthroughs and transformations faced by the hosts in the context of the changing model of the show.This paper uses the literature analysis method,case study method and comparative analysis method to study the new talk shows,such as A Date with Lu Yu and Adventure Life,to explore the requirements for and the influence on the hosts in the new model,such as program positioning,program themes,interview subjects and interview scenarios etc.Based on the examples of some famous hosts such as the CCTV Boys,Yi Lijing and Aya etc,this paper combines the practical attempts to create host IP in the media industry at this stage,and based on the graduation work“Their Art Light,summarizes how the hosts can show their personal charm,establish their personal brands more effectively and create an innovative path for the host IP under the new model from the aspects of The construction of thought,personalized language expression,role positioning,branding and innovation of marketing concept.
