Talk shows have been developed in China for more than 20 years and the Oriental Room,which produced by Shanghai Dragon TV in 1993,is the symbol of birth on Chinese TV talk show.At present,the content of network is a new force emerged rapidly with the development of network media.Apparently,talk show as the traditional advantage of TV station has become the important battleground and strategic field by major video sites in the context of media convergence.To clarify a comparative study of homogeneous content in different platforms and channels,this paper will try to analyze the similarities and differences in the perspective of talk show.The section one is about methodology,through literature review,case study,Comparative study and questionnaire survey,etc.to define the concept of talk show.The section two mainly analyze the talk show development status between network platform and TV platform.The section three mainly base on Iqiyi self-created talk show ‘let's talk' and Jiangsu TV station talk show ‘A Bright World' as two cases,to use Lasswell's ‘5W' as theoretical framework,Comparative study this two talk shows on five aspects: communication subject,communication content,communication channel,audience and communication effect to summarize the difference features and findings of talk show base on different communication media.In terms of findings base on Comparative study between ‘Let's talk' and ‘A Bright World',this paper found that ‘Let's talk' has more higher levels and effective results on the choice of the host,the content of the program,the frequency of interaction with the audience and the effect of the program.However,it also has some problems of uneven quality of the program,vulgar content and difficult to build program brand.‘A Bright World' is meeting the challenge of the audience market is divided,weak ratings,poor interaction with the audience and so on,but it also keeping the advantage of rigorous content and professional production by TV program.The section four is the inspiration of the development and innovation of talk show in China: 1.Training ‘opinion leader'style host;2.Innovating the content and form of program;3.To seek a real media convergence;4.Pay attention to the interaction with the audience;5.To strengthen the multiple regulation of "gatekeeper".
