SPARC architecture is an open architecture standards, and any organization or individual is free to design their own SPARC products. As the outstanding advantages of SPARC, studies of SPARC processors develop rapidly home and abroad. SPARC architecture has become an international processor architecture, and many institutions adopt the SPARC processor to design their computer systems.With the continuous development of embedded systems, embedded operating system migration is an important stage of embedded development. Embedded Linux is an open source for embedded system and multi-tasking operating system, but it is derived from the uClinux which is no MMU processor specifically for small and flexible embedded operating system. With the continuously improving performance of embedded hardware, the demand for embedded graphical user interface is increasing, and more and more embedded systems used the GUI, which is required lightweight and high reliability. Recently, many GUI have came into being. And among those, MiniGUI is the first choice for the embedded GUI because of its good features.The article deeply analyzes the structure and characteristics of embedded systems based on a SPARC V8 processor development platform. Besides, as the important position of embedded operating system, we compare several embedded operating systems which are widely used currently. According to their priority defects, this article highlights the advantages of embedded Linux. Then we elaborate the core structure, memory management, multi-process and other aspects of the uClinux on the basis of the changes made to Linux. We select SnapGear Linux operating system according to the hardware platform. Then, the hardware platform of this system system analysis is introduced in detail. The process of transplantation and preparation of the operating system driver specific formulation is explained afterward.The next step is the analysis of the architecture of MiniGUI in-depth, so that readers could have a better understanding of this article. Finally, the transplant process of MiniGUI is proposed, the entire system is completed.
