In the field of car electric instrumentation,embedded technology ,which has been widely applied,upgrades car instrumentation continuously in the appearance, functionality and performance,etc. embedded-board instrumentation has so much advantages in the sensitivity, precision,intuition and convenient,etc.So,the traditonal electromechanical car instrumentation will be replaced by embedded car instrumentation.This article designs a embedded car instrumentaion from the point of improving traffic safety,it is a car limiting instrument which can control the car's speed by adjusting limiting speed.This device,using embedded"uClinux+LPC2210"formula, realize human-computer interaction instrument interface by MiniGUI application.First,this article compares car limiting instrument at home and abroad.By understanding related information,at the point of technology level and input,compared with developed nation,find the gap and grasp the direction of future of this system,identify the design program that achieve the whole device by embedded technology.Second,give the content of the whole design and identify that LPC2210 is the hardware-core,building the hardware platfrom by LPC2210,Flash,PSRAM , D/A conversion.Identify that uClinux is software-core,building the software platfrom by Bootloader,uClinux kernel,Ramdisk,MiniGUI.Then,begin to debug the software and hardware in the cross-compilation environment,get Experimental results,by analysing the results, make relevant conclusions.last,finish the design and development of this topic.
