OBJECTIVE This study aim to design the performance evaluation model of the attending physician group and build the performance evaluation index system. What’s more, it can offer a consultancy for scientific performance evaluation of the attending physician group.METHODS First, document retrieval and expert interview were applied to construct a model of evaluating the performance of the attending physician group. Second this study use analytical method to build the performance evaluation index system. This essay determine the index weight via the combination of principal component analysis and analytic hierarchy process.RESULTS This paper determine the index weight and the performance evaluation index system. This system includes the business dimension, management and development dimension and the patients dimension. There are eight secondary indicators and 32 tertiary indicators in this system. The result has high reliability through factor analysis, and it meets the requirements of goodness-of-fit.CONCLUSION This research studies the attending physicians group post settings, working content and working characteristics. This study designs the performance evaluation index system includes the business dimension, management and development dimension and the patients dimension. The establishment of the model and system helps evaluate the performance of the attending physicians group and improve the discipline construction and operation efficiency of the attending physician group.
