The Research Of Multimedia Transmission System Based On Internet

With the progress of society and the development of science and technology, traditional expression way and transmission means of information can not meet people's demands . People are no longer satisfied with the simple speech signal and transmission of the characters data, but expect use many kinds of expression media.That multimedia transmission over IP is focused in the field of multimedia research at present.The paper introduces the standard of MPEG-2 in detail and discusses the characteristic of the multimedia transmitted over IP . The problem of time delay of multimedia transmitted is analyzed ,and the method of reducing to delay time is discussed though setting up the mathematics model and theory emulation.The paper explains the designing philosophy,the implementation method of systematic hardware platform, the peripheral circuit of the processor and the circuit of AV compressing module.Embedded real-time operation system uC/OS-II and LwIP are selected to increase the real-time performance. The paper analyzes the method and main point for porting uC/OS- II on S3C4510B ,then point out something regarding during the progress of porting. The method of porting LwIP on u C/OS- II and programing network driver is analyzed .The software design of receiver and transimitter is analyzed, DirectShow used in receiver is intruduced in end.At the same time this paper puts forward the method solved to the problem appearing during the course of debugging this system and analyzes the weak point of this system, then it can provide reference for other similar work.
