Study On The Lack Of Honesty And Credibility And Educational Countermeasures Of Contemporary College Students

Honesty and credibility is the quality without deceit or falseness and as good as one's words. It has been a traditional virtue of China and a fundamental regulation in communication. With the development of our well-off society and socialist market economy, the quality of honesty and credibility is the precious virtue we should keep. College students are the hope of our country and nation, so cultivating their quality of honesty and credibility and making them into the habit of that are the call of our age. At present, the main trends of college students' honesty and credibility is positive and healthy, while there are still matters of lack to some extent. Because of this, we need to actually strengthen the education of honesty and credibility and establish a valid educational system to improve the effect among college students. My thesis is just on it. It totally includes four parts.Part one: Foreword.Part two introduces the general theory of honesty and credibility. It mainly introduces historic origin and value of honesty and credibility in China and the Western world, the basic characters and differences between Chinese traditional honesty and credibility and West worlds'. It also introduces the value of honesty and credibility in modern society. That is the logic basis for the later studying and discussion.Part three analyzes the present situation of college students' honesty and credibility completely, expounding that the main trends of present college students' honesty and credibility are positive and healthy, and also points out the matters still existing among contemporary college students clearly. And then find out the deep reasons hidden behind from angle of social transformation and socialist market economy, the function of moral education at college weakened, college students' deviation of cognition and the defectiveness of Chinese traditional honesty and credibility.Part four puts the focus on the signification and educational countermeasures of college students' honesty and credibility education. In this part, the author puts forward a series of countermeasures to enhance the educational effect which include outer social environment construction, educational methods broaden and college students' inner environment built of honesty and credibility. By establishing a whole educational system of college students' honesty and credibility, we hope to improve the contemporary college students' honesty and credibility quality actually.
