Study On The Reasons For The Lack Of Credibility Among College Students

Credibility is not only one of the traditional virtues of our Chinese nation, but also the most basic ethical values of Chinese traditional culture. Integrity has gained great recognition as a moral principle and practice. Contemporary college students are the main force of the future construction of the motherland,their ideological and moral qualities, integrity are closely linked with Country's prosperity and national self-reliance, social progress and also the self-development of themselves. However, it caused great concern in the community that there are lacks of good faith among college students due to various negative factors during the transformation of society. The analysis of the causes of lack of honesty has become of great concern in academia circle. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the cause of incredibility among university students in the perspective of the basic contradiction during ideological and political education. Using four pairs of contradiction as the main line to analyze the root causes of lack of credibilitu among college students: between the social environment and education requirements, between education requirements and the educated thinking and behavior, between educator and the educated, between education and the educational requirements. By doing so, there are conducive to carrying out the ideological and political education work, improving its effectiveness, and helping to achieve all-round development of people. The full text is divided into the following sections:Firstly, begin with analyzing the contradiction between educational requirements and the social environment to discuss the integrity problems existed in the group of college students. The thesis believes that Chinese education itself has expectations of credibility for citizens, but the reality is land sliding. Therefore, as to the educated, all the circumstances surrounding him are environmental factors which become the frame of reference to individual evaluation and their selection of important educational requirements. Even the educated are aware of the correctness of educational requirements and adverse environment; in the case of Social conformity effect, people will ignore the educational requirements and take "follow the crowd" strategy. In other words, a contrast with the educational impact of and surrounding environment, often at a certain extent, offset the impact of education, which led to a lack of integrity of university students. Secondary, explores the contradiction in thinking and behavior between educational requirements and the educated. In the process of the ideological and political education, the educated constantly faced with knowledge contradictions because the ideas coming from external are usually not Consistent with their own original experience, and some even conflict. Personal experience is objective, but often has some limitations too, which resulting limitations and one-sidedness in personal vision and ways of thinking,and unconsciously create positive or negative attitude to certain things. One thing to emphasize: If the educational requirements are correspondent to personal experience, the individual will be more receptive to external education. Conversely, individuals are often reluctant to accept education requirements and insist on personal experience which causes the loss of credibility.Thirdly, discusses the conflicts between the educators and the educated. Pointing out that a harmonious relationship that the educators and the educated demand are discordant with the relations existed in teachers and students; and a lack of good faith in colleges and universities and educational requirements also contribute reasons to a bad faith of college students.Finally, discusses the conflicts between the educators and educational requirements. Theoretically,education and community are unified; education represents the requirements of society to educate people. Educators need to educate others, and they have a question of education, and this kind of education is not completed once and for all, it must be carried out anytime, anywhere. At the same time, there is an effect of education quality issues here and have an ongoing process of studying, understanding and comprehending. However, there are contradictions and deviations in the reality between educator and the educational requirements, and split personality of some educators are also important factors to the lack of honesty among college students.
