The Western Development Strategy and the tenth Five-Year-Plan offered development opportunities to the West. It is a theoretically and practically important problem to take advantages of the existing superiorities to accelerate regional development and to enhance the harmonize development of our whole nation. Introduces methods of FDI, and describes effects of FDI on both positive and negative sides, compares experiences outside and inside China. 4.Chapter III, FDI in China. Introduces the current situation and problems in China; 5.Chapter IV, Consideration on Enlarging FDI in West China. Gives suggestions to the West according to its special situation. 6.Conclusion.
