With the further development of free trade and China's accession to WTO, China has become the No. 1 country attracting FDI. FDI has played a positive role in the optimum of China's industries, and promoted the industrialization process. However, FDI also has some negative influence on China's industries. Therefore, this thesis will study the influence of FDI on China's industrial structure. This thesis has a great meaning for further attracting FDI, directing rational distribution of FDI and promoting economic&social stability.In the first chapter, author explains some theories related to FDI and industrial structure optimization.In the second chapter, author discusses the status quo and existing problems of current industrial mix; then she makes a comparison with other countries such as developed countries, new-rising industrial countries as well as developing countries, and comes to three revelations:(l)Actively guide the adjust of industrial mix,(2) Strengthen domestic research and technological innovation, import , absorb advanced foreign technologies,(3)Set the priority objective of industrial mix optimization.In the third chapter, author begins with the analysis of the influence of FDI on China's economy, then analyzes its influence from positive and negative aspect, finally analyzes the influence on the primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry.In the last chapter, author gives her counter-suggestions for promoting industrial structure updating:(l)Enhance the industrial guidance of FDI,(2)Quicken technological import to rebuild traditional industries,(3)Make infrastructure and fundamental industry attractive for FDI,(4)Build just and competitive market.
