Nourishing Decoction Combined With Cetirizine Hydrochloride Treatment Of Blood Deficiency And Dryness Of Clinical Observation Of Chronic Urticaria

Chronic urticaria is a very common dermatological disease. Clinical reports and according to statistics, about 20% of people have suffered from a lifetime of chronic urticaria.The feature of Chronic urticaria is that the rashes are often recured and serious,but also disappear all at once.The serious itching which is a hall mark of the disease of renders,the patient's work and stud life unbearable. So patients often use antihistamines for a long time to control the disease, but the rashes quite often will recur after stopping administration of the medicine. Therefore, prevention and treatment of chronic urticaria is our bounden duty as medical prachtioners. But for now, Western medicine treatment of the disease is mainly symptomatic and supportive treatment, oral antihistamines often used, but there is a risk of the side effects, and after cessation of medication a high risk of recurrence.In this clinical trial,we use Nourishing Decoction combined ourishing Decoction,combined with orally administered and achieved very satisfactory results. This clinical study, has given us solid evidence that combining decoction and cetirizine,in the treatment of blood deficiency and dryness of chronic urticaria along with recurrence episodes will bring about outstanding results in the treatment of afficiteal patients. All cases observed were from the month of August 2008 to the month of May 2009 at Dermatology outpatient department of Hubei Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine,60 patients who were all type of blood deficiency and dryness with chronic urticaria. These 60 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. Groups in the following aspects (age, sex, and duration) were statistically compared with no significant difference, (P> 0.05), comparable. The experimental group was administered treatment group taking dextrose, each 150ml,2 times a day and cetirizine oral tablet 10mg, on day 1.The control group was administered cetirizine dispersible tablets 10mg, on day 1 and along with 10ml oral itching Qufeng,3 times a day. Both after meals. They Were treated for 4 weeks and during this time all the other drugs were stopped.Evaluation Criteria:The symptom score decreased index as the evaluation criteria, symptom score decreased index=[(a treatment before treatment after integral points)/points before treatment]×100%. Recovery index:index of≥90%; markedly indicators:90%> index≥60%; effective indicators:60%> index≥30%; invalid index:index of<30%.4.1 Clinical Comparison of the two groups, after statistical analysis,showed that the treatment group (Nourishing Decoction combined with cetirizine) was more effective than the control group (cetirizine combined with Qufeng oral itching),and was statistically significant (P<0.05).4.2 The extent of the two groups after treatment the pruritus score compared treated group with the control group, exhibited statistical significance (P<0.05).4.3 Clinical observation group total score after treatment compared treated group with the control group, exhibited statistical significance (P<0.05).4.4 Recurrence rate between the two groups after statistical analysis, compared the treatment group with the control group, exhibited statistically significant (P<0.05).Through clinical observation in this experiment we can prove nourishing Decoction combined with cetirizine in the treatment of blood deficiency and dryness of chronic urticaria,①is more effective than oral cetirizine group,②at the same time the significantly less risk to the patients,minimal toxiaty of the medication,and economical factors all render this trial worthy of further clinical studies.
