ObjectiveObserving the relationship between peripheral neurotransmitter and TCM syndrome types, and the relationship between DA and 5-HT, Ach and NE of MD. Then,to study the pathogenesis of MD and the inherent nature of TCM syndrome types.MethodA case-control study, observing 175 MD patients, with TCM syndrome types of 38 liver qi stagnation,28 liver depression and spleen deficiency,40 liver depression and phlegm obstruction,28 deficiency of both heart and spleen,41 non-interaction of heart and kidney, compared the indicators between each TCM syndrome type and 44 normal subjects.Using SAS8.1 statistical software for analysis, observed the differences in each group of 5-HT, NE, DA and Ach, the relationship between DA and 5-HT,Ach and NE, and the relationship between peripheral neurotransmitter and sexes, ages and severity.Results(1) The ratio of male to female was of MD was 3:7, more female than male; According to the age distribution, the group of 31 to 60 was most (90%);(2) Neurotransmitter of MD was less than the normal group, but there were 24.6%NE,31.4%5-HT,22.3%DA and 7.7%Ach hyperthyroidism(P<0.01);(3) NE,5-HT, DA and Ach of each TCM syndrome type were lower than the normal group, and the neurotransmitter hyperthyroidism of each TCM syndrome type was in a certain proportion (P0.05);There was no linear correlation between age and 5-HT, NE, DA and Ach(P>0.05).Conclusion5-HT, NE, DA, Ach levels of different syndrome types were different. The pathogenesis of MD includes neurotransmitter dysfunction, hyperthyroidism and neurotransmitter antagonistic imbalance. Lighter MD, neurotransmitter levels were higher; severe MD, neurotransmitter levels were lower.
