Clinical Research Of Shu Gan Tiao Li Chong Ren Decoction With TE Chemotherapy In The Treatment Of Breast Cancer Patients QOL

Objective:To observe Shugan tiaolichongren Decoction treating breast cancer in quality of life, and evaluate the comprehensive curative effect of Shugan tiaolichongren decoction initially,and provide clinical edvidence for the Chinese medicine treatment of breast cancer research,and clinical exploration for chinese medicinal products treating breast cancer,and discuss on the relevance of TCM symptom evaluation with quality of life and the preliminary study,to standardize the evaluation system of Chinese medicine lay the foundation.Methods:40 cases with breast cancer randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group (Shu gan tiaolichongren decoction combined with chemotherapy TE) with 20 cases,the control group(chemotherapy alone TE) with 20 cases,the treatment group with TE chemotherapy,and 21 days as a course of continuous observation for 2 cycles.The treatment group with Shu gan tiaolichongren decoction for oral taken once a day in the interim period.Compared two groups in changes in quality of life,Chinese medicine symptom score,Kamofsky score,tumor lesions,and other safety indicators before and after treatment,and statistic the results with statistical software.Results:1.Comparison in quality of life:Comparison in quality of life:①two groups QLQ-C30scale scores improved kinds:body function,two groups after treatment has increased. The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant(P＞0.05);the role of integral function,two groups after treatment has decreased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant(P＞0.05);emotional function,two groups after treatment has decreased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were statistically significant (P＜0.05);cognitive function,two groups after treatment has decreased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant(P＞0.05);social functions,two groups after treatment has increased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant (P＞0.05);overall health/quality of life,two groups after treatment has increased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P＜0.01);physical symptoms,two groups after treatment has decreased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P＜0.01);health related economic situation,two groups after treatment has increased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant(P＞0.05).②two groups FACT-B(V4.0) scale scores improved kinds:physiology section,two groups after treatment has decreased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant (P＞0.05);family life section,two groups after treatment has increased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant(P＞0.05);emotion section,two groups after treatment has decreased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were not significant (P＞0.05);function condition section,two groups after treatment has increased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05);other additional concerns section,two groups after treatment has decreased.The differences of the two groups after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.01).2.Comparison in TCM syndrome and physical condition:TCM Syndrome of the two groups after treatment integral have declined.There is statistically significant between the two groups after treatment(P<0.01).Karnorfsy score of the two groups were both improved after treatment. There is statistically significant difference between the two groups after treatment (P<0.01).which showed that Shu Gan Tiao Li Chong Ren Decoction combined with chemical therapy can improve the TCM syndrome and physical condition on the patients with breast cancer.3.The comparison of the changes of CEA,CA153,CA125 value between the two groups. CA153 values of the two groups have both decreased after treatment.After treatment didn't show significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).CEA and CA125 values of the two groups have both decreased after treatment.Before and after treatment didn't show significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).which showed that Shu Gan Tiao Li Chong Ren Decoction combined with chemical therapy can not reduce CEA,CA153and CA125 value.4.Comparison of adverse reactions.The results showed that two major adverse reaction is neutropenia,anemia,thrombocytopenia,diarrhea,nausea and vomiting,and the transaminase elevation.The difference of the treatment group compared to control group in the neutropenia, diarrhea,nausea,vomiting and other adverse reactions,was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Shu gan tiaolichongren decoction combined with chemotherapy TE is better than pure chemotherapy in impoving quality of life,improving Chinese medicine symptom and physical conditions.
