Clinical Study On Acupuncture Therapy Of Migraine With Shaoyang Specific Acupoints

Objective:To discuss the mechanism of Shaoyang specific acupoints to provide the theoretical evidence for the clinical therapy of acupuncture by observing the change of blood stream of brain and the clinical effect on migraine with Shaoyang specific acupoints.Methods:Under the random,contrast and single-blind research method,60 cases who conform to the standard were randomly divided into two groups:The therapy group(the specific acupoint on the meridian of Shaoyang group with 30 cases) and the control group(the non-meridian and non-acupoint group with 30 cases).Every time the needle to stay 30 minutes,5 times/week,a total of four weeks treatment.After treatment,the short-term effect were evaluated with times of attack,intensity of attack,headache intensity,duration,concomitant symptoms and VAS,MSQ,the cerebral blood flow of TCD;Treatment after one month follow-up observation of the other things in addition to TCD of the clinical indicators,to compare the two groups of long-term effect. Result:(1) For the short-term effect,①the total effective rates in treatment group(80.00%)were higher than that in contrast group(37.93%)significantly(P＜0.01).②Times of attack,intensity of attack,headache intensity,duration, concomitant symptoms and VAS,MSQ after the treatment were all decreased than before(P＜0.05).Except for duration,there were significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05).③The treatment group had significant differentiation before treating and after treatment on the tow sides peak systolic velocity of MCA,ACA,PCA,VA,BA(P＜0.01).Except for the tow sides peak systolic velocity of ACA,RMCA and LVA,the tow sides peak systolic velocity of PCA,RVA and BA had significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P＜0.05).(2) For the long-term effect,①the total effective rates in treatment group(93.33%)were higher than that in contrast group(37.93%) significantly(P＜0.01).②Times of attack,intensity of attack, headache intensity,duration,concomitant symptoms and VAS,MSQ in treatment group were all decreased than before after treatment(P＜0.05).There were significant difference between treatment group and contrast group after treatment,the scores of symptoms and VAS,MSQ in treatment group were decreased more than that in contrast group(P＜0.05).Conclusions:(1)Both acupuncture with and without the specific acupoint on the meridian of Shaoyang had effect on treatment,especially for acupuncture with specific acupoint on Jiaosun,Waiguan,Yanglingquan,Qiuxu to cure migraine.Confirmed by the clinical treatment,the short-term effect and long-term effect of the therapy group were better than the control group,it is worth of further application.(2) Acupuncture with the specific acupoint on the meridian of Shaoyang was not just effective for improving the clinical symptoms of migraine,but also for adjusting the vasomotion state of brain, improving the blood flow of brain,preventing migraine attack and ameliorating its frequency and intensity.(3) To improve the life quality of the patient with migraine,the effect of the therapy group that acupuncture with the specific acupoint on the meridian of Shaoyang was much better than the control group.
