Observation On Clinical Effect Of Migraine With Acupuncturing The Specific Points Of The Meridian Of Shaoyang

ObjectiveMigraine is characterized as the repeated episodes of one or two sides pain,caused by the dysfunction of nerve and vessel, which often following with nausea and vomit,while a few typical patients have the symptoms in sight, feeling and movement before it comes. The etiology and mechanism of the disease are still unexplained, which is considered be caused by vasoconstriction obstacle extracranial and intracranial. The factors which caused the disease include the dysfunction like environment, psyche, endocrine dysfunction, neurotransmitter and immunity , etc. Some patients have the genetic predisposition.This disease is classified as Migaine and "Pian Tou Feng" in the category of the traditional Chinese medicine,Which affects the face, forhead, orbital, which are on the circulating course of the Meridian of Shaoyang,Its pathogen is considered as many factors like wind, phlegm, stagnation and the weakness of vital-qi.The essay which accords to the classical literature of the traditional Chinese medicine,choose specific points of the Meridian of Shaoyang as treat group,while choosing other meridian points as control,for studying on the specific effect of the specific points in treatment of the meridian diseases.Methods 90 patients with migraine were randomly divided into 2 groups , the specific points group (45cases) as treatment group and the other meridian points group as control. Meanwhile choosing the headache grade table as the therapy effect criterion of this disease. ResultIn the treatment group ( 45 cases ) , the effective rate was93. 33 %, which was higher than that in control group( 45cases, 66. 7% ) with a significant difference (P<0. 01) according the statistics method. The effect of each group before and after the therapy shows significant differences according the statistics method, which implies that the two groups can both have the effect to migraine in reducing the degree , frequency and the times of duration headache , comparing the effect of the two groups after the therapy shows significant differences according the statistics method ( P<0. 05 ), implies that the treatment group has more advantages than the control group in improving the clinical symptoms.
