Therapeution Effects Of Spleen Deficiency In Patients With Central Obesity Type Treated With Spleen Stomach Sanjiao Back-Shu And Front-Mu Point Compatibility Acupoint Catgut Embedding Therapy

Research object:To investigate if spleen stomach sanjiao Back-Shu and Front-Mu point compatibility acupoint catgut embedding therapy and partial selection point acupoint catgut embedding therapy has the same intervention effect with spleen deficiency in patients with central obesity type in obesity-related indicators and spleen deficiency symptoms score.Research method:Choose 70 obesity patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for central obesity in acupuncture and moxibustion clinic of First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between March 2008 to March 2009.According to "Spleen Qi Deficiency Syndrome dialectical traditional Chinese medicine reference standard" of (Pilot) which published by our country in 1997,we diagnosed 65 cases of spleen deficiency in patients with central obesity type.Then we put these 65 cases into control group and treatment group with 33 and 32 patients in it.The two groups are treated with acupoint catgut embedding therapy,but with different points.Every time we buried fixed points according to different groups,and do it every 7-10 days.We set 3 months as 1 course of treatment,and observed before treatment and 3 months after treatment in patients with clinical measurements of the two groups changes. Clinical data show that the greater the effect of changes in the more significant.Research results:Into 65 cases of obesity patients only 4 cases shed,the remaining 61 cases entered the final analysis.â‘ Two groups of patients before and after treatment comparison of clinical efficacy:the control group and treatment group total effective rates are 83.3%and 93.3%,it means the treatment group's clinical efficacy of obesity treatment is better than the control group' s.â‘¡Two groups of patients before and after treatment comparison of spleen deficiency symptoms score:the control group and treatment group total effective rates are 73.3%and 93.3%,it means the treatment group can correct spleen deficiency symptoms better than the control group.â‘¢Two groups of patients before and after treatment comparison of serum lipid situation:the treatment group and the control group both have significant change before and after treatment in TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C (P<0.05),it means tow groups therapy have a regulatory role on serum lipids in obesity patients.Research conclusion:Spleen stomach sanjiao Back-Shu and Front-Mu point compatibility acupoint catgut embedding therapy is similar with partial selection point acupoint catgut embedding therapy in intervention effect of obesity patients' obesity-related indicators.However,it is better than partial selection point acupoint catgut embedding therapy in improving the spleen deficiency symptoms.
