The study observed the impact of three exercise modes to type 2 diabetes. Through comparing the effects of the three exercise modes, to find out the best one. The subjects were 65 type 2 diabetes. They were 35 males and 30 males. The average age were 56.37. The disease course were between 0.5-20 years. The were divided into four groups: gymnastic and dumbbell group, gymnastic and walk group, walk group and control group. Three groups exercised 5-7 days per week at 60-70% VO2max, and each time lasted 45-60 minutes (including warm up and cool down used 10min). Through record SF-36, compare the impact of three exercise modes to the life quality of subjects. The results illustrate:(1)After 12 weeks of gymnastics and dumbbell exercise, the Physical Heelth Dimension,Mental Health Dimension and total score of SF-36 were all raised(P<0.01,P<0.05 and P<0.05),and Physical Heelth Dimension higher than control group after 12 weeks(P<0.05);(2)After 12 weeks of gymnastics and walk, the Mental Health Dimension and total score of SF-36 was raised, but it didn't have statistic signification(P<0.05); (3)After 12 weeks of walk, the Mental Health Dimension and total score of SF-36 were all raised(P<0.05);(4)The total exercise patients after 12 weekes exercise,he Mental Health Dimension and total score of SF-36 was raised(P<0.05 and P<0.01.(5)The SF-36 of control group was not changed after 12 weeks. The results suggest: the gymnastic and dumbbell exercise is a mode to improve the quality of life of type 2 diabetes;walk exercise and the gymnastics and walk group also improved the life quality of type 2 diabetes, but it was not as good as the gymnastic and dumbbell exercise. Therefore,in order to improve the quality of life of type 2 diabetes, the adaptively exercise mode is to combine aerobics with strength.
