Objectives:the purpose of this study were as follows:(1)to understand clinical nursing teachers' self-efficacy,teaching efficacy and teaching behaviors and their influencing factors.(2)To discuss the correlation among self-efficacy,teaching efficacy and teaching behaviors.Methods.A descriptive,correlative design were used to this study.methods of data collection were used questionnaire survey.The subjects were clinical nursing teachers(n=130)of 3 teaching hospitals in shanxi province and their students(college or undergraduate nursing students)and head nurses in the ward.According to the large sample questionnaire survey.the study analyzed the data with Spss(13.0)for windows.Based on the descriptive statistics,compare means,correlation analysis and step regression analysis.Results:The data in this study revealed that:(1)The mean score of clinical nursing teachers' self-efficacy reached 2.915(full mark is 4).The self-efficacy of the clinical nursing teachers have difference in the training for teachers the educational background,the teaching experience and the title professional posts.Teachers who have the training are higher in self-efficacy.Teachers who have Bachelor degrees are higher in self-efficacy.Teachers' self-efficacy is going up when the teaching experience and the title professional posts are going up gradually.(2)The mean score of clinical nursing teachers' teaching efficacy reached 4.194(full mark is 6)Teachers who have Bachelor degrees are higher in the personal teaching efficacy.As the teaching experience is going up gradually,the teachers' personal teaching efficacy is going up.The personal teaching efficacy of the clinical nursing teachers increases with their title of professional posts.(3)The mean score of clinical nursing teachers' teaching behaviors reached 5.710(fuU mark is 7)The teaching behaviors of the clinical nursing teachers increases with their title of professional posts.(4)The correlation exist not between self-efficacy and teaching behaviors.The correlation exist between teaching efficacy and teaching behaviors.(5)The teaching efficacy can predict teaching behaviors.Conclusions:(1)The training for teachers affects the clinical nursing teachers' self-efficacy,but can not affect teaching efficacy and teaching behaviors.(2)The educational background,the teaching experience and the title professional posts can affect the clinical nursing teachers' self-efficacy,the personal teaching efficacy.(3)The title professional posts affects the clinical nursing teachers' teaching behaviors.(4)The correlation exist between teaching efficacy and teaching behaviors.Teaching efficacy can predict teaching behaviors.To deepen clinical nursing teachers' teaching efficacy might be a way to improve their teaching behaviors.
