The Studies On Needs And Countermeasure For Community Nursing Of Changchun City

Directed by the theory frame of the Model of Community Health Promotion, we thoroughly investigated the residents' needs for community nursing, the contents of the community nurses' work and the knowledge and skills that the community nurses need to grasp. Meanwhile, as for the current issues in terms of community nursing, we proposed some comments and suggestions.Method: We collected the questionnaires from 208 residents and the 20 managers and 102 nurses belonging to 20 communities in Changchun city. And the descriptive analysis and multifactor analysis are used in the data analysis.Results: Residents hope to develop all kinds of services in terms of the disease nursing, the disease preventing and the health promotion and propose the main service items. The main tasks are the chronic disease care for the aged people on the disease nursing, the basic nursing and nursing consultation for home care, the propaganda of the aged chronic disease prevention on the disease prevention and so on. The community nurses mastered the knowledge and skills of the basic nursing for home care and the aged chronic disease nursing, the nursing consultation, the mental leading for the patients, the instruction for the epidemical disinfection and isolation on the disease nursing, and the propaganda services of the aged chronic disease prevention, the epidemical prevention on the disease prevention, as well as the mental health consultation on the health promotion.Conclusions: Residents have the stronger health care needs and put forward the higher requirements for the community nursing on the disease care, the disease prevention, and the health promotion. The government should offer the strong thefinancial support and perfect the self-compensation mechanism for the community care organization. The community nursing should develop the services on the disease prevention and the health promotion for the family, colony and community instead of the previous individual disease nursing. The primary function is the health promotion. We should launch the layered community care training and build the training base of the community nurses. In the process of training, we should emphasize and strengthen the knowledge and skills of the home care. The emphases of the training should expand from the disease nursing to the disease prevention and the health promotion. Strengthen the propaganda and health education, upgrade the awareness of the community service organization and change the hospitalizing model of the residents.
