The Research On Undergraduate Educational System For Health Service Management

The reform of Health Service Management(HSM) is one of the most important items of the medical system reform. Along with the development of society, health service management is urgently needed to improve synchronously and accordingly. In any case, the managers are the hosts of the managements, and the institution of advanced education takes the responsibility of cultivating and educating them. Thus, the arrangement of proper curriculum system is of kernel and essence. But the present education system for HSM coexists with numbers of problems and disadvantages, including redundant medical science lessons, insufficient phylaxiological courses, lacking of professional management training, obsolete contents of textbooks, absence of evaluating criteria for internship, etc. Therefore, it desperately needs stepwise amelioration, in order to make good adaptation to the modern society.In this research, we utilized literature reviewing, questionnaire survey, interviewing, statistical analyzing, etc., and investigated 150 HSM related staffs, to conjecture the potential requirement from the society for health service managers in knowledge, qualification and ability, forsaking the disadvantages of present training...
