Objective To explore the effects of E2, IGF-1, IL-6, Leptin on the pathogenesis of postmenopausal osteoporosis by observing the changes of E2, IGF-1, IL-6, Leptin levels in women with PMO.Methods According to the results of bone mineral density (BMD) scanning of lumbar vertebrae, all the women were allocated to three groups with Group PMO 32 cases, Group NOP 30 cases, Group Contrast 30 cases. Serum levels of IGF-1, IL-6, Leptin and BGP were determined by radioimmunoassay method , and serum level of E2 was determined by CIA method. And serum levels of P, Ca, AKP were determined as well. Results Serum level of IL-6 was higher in Group PMO and Group NOP than that in Group Contrast and higher in Group PMO than that in Group NOP. Serum level of IL-6 was correlated negatively with BMD and estrogen (r= -0.587, -0.438, P<0.05), positively with BGP (r=0.545, P<0.05). IGF-1 level was much lower in Group PMO than those in Group NOP and Group Contrast. Serum level of IGF-1 was correlated positively with BMD and estrogen( r=0.569, 0.433, P <0.01) , negatively with age(r=-0.538, P<0.01). The concentrations of serum Leptin had no difference in Group PMO , Group NOP , Group Contrast. Serum Leptin concentrations had no... |
