Background: Depression has become more and more serious problem in public sanitation. Depression is a common,chronic and recurrent disease, and heavy burden and harmful outcome harmful consequence have been paid more and more attention to gradually. 5 percent of Chinese suffer from psychologic obstacle with different degree, and the number has gone up since the past several years. Depression will be one of the three most serious obstacles. Experts presume that 21st century is the peak of depression occurrence. Anti-depression drug is the main means to control symptom and prevent recurrence. But the compliance in depression is not optimistic. It is reported that 30~60% of patients do not follow up the anti-depression drug. This article is to investigate the influence factors and dropout reasons of compliance, develop effective interventions , and control this depression.Objective: To investigate compliance with drug, and factors influencing compliance in patients with depression.Methods: A retrospective study was carried out with a total of 154 patients in depression. Those patients were selected in our hospital from May in 2004 to October in 2005. Compliance was assessed by using a self-administered questionnaire besides HAMD,HAMA,SSRS questionnaires. T-test, chi-square test and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used for the analyses of the general condition and influence factors of compliance.Results:1. The depression patients with good compliance was 59, occupied to 38.3% whereas bad compliance was 95 occupied to 61.7% in 154 eligible questionnaires.2. The influence of drug compliance was...
