Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the alterations of severalmolecular markers of vascular endothelium, antithrombosis system and thrombolysis system in PIH women, in order to further find out the following problems: 1) the correlation between endothelium damage and pathogenesis of PIH and, 2) the role of the markers in the diagnosis of PIH and prethrombotic state. Methods: Sixty PIH women were enrolled in the case group, thirty-five normalpregnancy women and thirty-five normal non-pregnancy women were selected as control groups. Blood samples were drawn from non-pregnancy women, normal pregnancy and PIH women before and after delivery. Using the SYSMEXCA-7000 coagulation analyzer to determine the plasma levels of von willebrand factor(vWF), alpha-2-antiplasmin(α2-AP), D-dimer(D-D), and the activities of Protein C(ProC), tissue-type plasminogen activator(t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-l(PAI-l). Using SLT SPECTRA reader to determine the level of thrombomodulin(TM).Results: 1., The levels of vWF and TM In PIH group were obviously increasedthan the other two control groups (P<0.01), but there were no significant differences between the two control groups (P>0.05).2. Activity of ProC decreased gradually in the non-pregnancy, normal pregnancy and PIH groups. The differences among the three groups were significant(P<0.01).3. Compared with the non-pregnancy group, the activity of t-PA in the PIH and normal pregnancy groups decreased greatly (P<0.01), while the activity...
