Clinical Study Of Ping Chuan He Ji On Treating Bronchial Asthma Attack In Childen

Objective:To study the pathogenesis of bronchial asthma attack in childen and the mechanism of curative effect of Ping Chuan He Ji(PCHJ) by clinical and experimental research. Methods: Two hundreds childen with bronchial asthma attack were divided randomly into PCHJ group(100 cases), Tanchuan Pill group(50 cases) and Brincanyl group(50 cases). The changes of clinical symptoms and laboratory indexs which include pulmonary function and the level of EOS, IL-4, IFN-r, IgE in all the patients were observed before and after treatment. Results:In PCHJ group ,the recovery rate and the total effective rate were 64% and 96% which were significantly better than those of Tanchuan Pill group(36% and 84%)and Brincanyl group(33.5% and 80%);the pulmonary function was improved and the level of EOS, IL-4, IgE were decreased,otherwise the level of IFN-r was increased remarkably, which were statistically different compared with those of the Tanchuan Pill group and the Brincanyl group,P<0.05 or 0.01. Conclusion: The main pathogenesis of bronchial asthma attack in childen was binding of phlegm and stasis and lung qi ascending counterflow. Ping Chuan He Ji was effective to bronchial asthma attack in childen.
