Schizophrenia, abbreviated as SP, is usually a kind of persistent, severe chronic mental illness. When the disease attacks, it will not only affect one’s physical and mental health and ability to work, but also have a significant influence to the family and society. Although anti-psychotics can make psychiatric symptoms be improved and cured, it still has less effect in terms of relapse prevention of mental illness and improve mental health and social function. On one hand, patients would worry about palindromia, the issue of marriage and family, interpersonal communication and the future prospects; On the other hand, they would worry about discrimination and indifference from others which lead them become self-abasement, lower self-assessment, pessimism and anxiety. All of this creates obstacles to patients’ rehabilitation of physiology, mentality and social function. The research of convalescence schizophrenia patients mainly focuses on their social function, life quality and stigma. Currently, the study about self-esteem and self-efficacy of patients during convalescence is not sufficient at home and abroad. It is even less on study of status survey and mental intervention about patients’ self-esteem and self-efficacy. Therefore, in order to promote the convalescence schizophrenia patients’ physiology, mentality and social function, it is necessary to make an intensive study of convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem, self-efficacy from status survey and mental intervention respect.Based on this, this research mainly includes the following two aspects of content. Study 1, the writer chose 121 convalescence schizophrenia patients as the research object in Kunming city and surrounding areas, used the self-made patients’ cognition and attitude towards disease investigation, self-esteem scale(SES), general self-efficacy scale(GSES), and combined with interviews, to exploring status of convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem, self-efficacy, and their influencing factors. Study 2, With group counseling priority to case consulting,the writer give psychological intervention to 10 convalescence schizophrenia patients. Through the experimental group-control group measured before and after experimental design, the writer formulate corresponding group counseling program, to inspecting the group counseling effect to improve convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem, self-efficacy, and mental illness recovery. It may draw conclusions as follows:Study 1:1. Convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem, self-efficacy is below average quality.2. Convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem, self-efficacy is influenced by the factors of marital status, educational level, occupational status, income level, etc.3. Convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem, self-efficacy is influenced by the factors of different incidence, the time from disease attack to receive treatment, family history, first onset age, etc.4. Convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem, self-efficacy is influenced by the factors of his cognition and attitude to the disease.Study 2:1.Intervention can effectively improve convalescence schizophrenia patients’ self-esteem and self-efficacy.2.The level of self-esteem, self-efficacy. and can promote the rehabilitation of schizophrenia patients.
