Most of China's Hazardous Goods Processing Stations are established in accordance with the traffic demand of the planned economy period; and with the great change of China's petrochemical industry distribution and other external environmental factors, there emerges great discrepancies between hazardous goods processing stations'allocation and hazardous goods'transportation demands. Consequently, the optimization and adjustment of hazardous goods processing stations' allocation is becoming an urgent problem of both the railroad sector and the academy.Based on comprehensive analysis into main factors affecting the allocation of Hazardous Goods Processing Stations in China and system science, this paper successfully establishes the comprehensive evaluation index system of Hazardous Goods Processing Stations and then a fuzzy evaluation model based on AHP method has been constructed to make a systematical assessment of the Hazardous Goods Processing Stations, which achieve a good combination of qualitative judgments and quantitative analysis.During the research process, this paper makes a thorough investigation into the following theory, such as the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, hierarchical analysis method and gray rational analysis method. The paper provides some resolution for the open questions in AHP method and the fuzzy evaluation method via the improvement and synthesis of data processing, membership function, weight calculation and results analysis. As the feeder roads makes up the majority of railroad transportation, this paper chooses three hazardous goods processing stations of Chengdu Railway Bureau to check the model validity and calculation results verify the consistency between the model and productive practice. This paper will provide some guidelines for optimal allocation of work stations in practice, and some source of reference for relevant research..
