The objeetives of safety evaeuation in the subway was directly related to the safety of personal life. How to effectively ease the evacuation of the public crowded and prevent casualties had become a focus in the domain of current domestic and international public safety, as well as an important component of MRT design. Subway emergency evacuation is in a certain period of time all personnel safely evacuated to safe areas after emergencies occurred.The paper compared evacuation design standards of China and the United States' subway station, expounded requirements of the evacuation facilities in China'MRT station , introduced an emergency evacuation time formula on experience. When passengers' character was the basis of the space evacuation in station, the paper analyzed the behavioral characteristics of passengers in evacuation, determined the parameters of the simulation system and crowd control indicators.This paper explained common strategy in emergency evacuation, analyzed the function and design of evacuation guide system , established evacuation route choice model using ant arithmetic with a similar trend of following and transferring to public volume, and details on how to use A * algorithm to find path rapidly.This paper presented an evaluation system , focus on indicators of three aspect in evacuation ability, the station space layout and impact to rail transit network operation . Finally, using the station of Dongchang Road as an example, imposed the simulation software PedAge to have an evacuation simulation to receive the recommended improvements of the station .
