Studies On Comprehensive Evaluation Of Human Settlements In Scale Of City In Arid Region Based On Sustainable Development And Development Of MIS

Sustainable development of Urban Human settlements is ultimate object of the modern city's construction and development and it is an important sign that control urbanization process. Sustainable development of Urban Human settlements should not only think about the environment quality of city's residence but also the sustainable development of social, economic and so on. The paper thinks fully about the content of human settlements and the connotation of sustainable development, and establishes the comprehensive evaluation index system of human settlements'sustainable development in scale of city in arid region, and takes Shihezi city of XinJiang as example.This paper uses the associated method of qualitative and quantitative, statistic and investigation, subjective and objective to explore and analyze the theory, method and practice of human settlements. The main research findings are listed as follows:(1) It formulates the theory and practice background and development state of human settlements systematically.(2) Based on the generalized human settlement theories mentioned above, the paper chooses the scale of city from the scale-chain of human settlements, establishes the comprehensive evaluation index system of human settlements'sustainable development in scale of city in arid region, and analyzes the evaluation method of residential satisfaction of human settlements.(3) Based on the theory above, taking Shihezi city as a study case, the paper establishes an evaluating indicator system of sustainable development of Shihezi city Human settlements, and designs questionnaire of residential satisfaction. Then statistic and investigative data about the quality of human settlements of Shihezi city have been analyzed and optimal measurements have been raised. The result is that the quality of human settlements of Shihezi city is rather good, but the ability of sustainable development is ordinary and all evaluation items are all in state of harmony. At the same time, the paper find out some bottleneck indicators that limit urban sustainable development. According to the real situation of arid region and the standard value of national and international, the specialists give some reasonable thresholds and fit values.(4) For the comprehensive evaluation relates too much data and complicated calculate courses, it takes a lot of time and energy of research personnel and it will make some errors inevitability. So the paper discusses the steps of HSEIS development and the achievement feasibility.
